Simple, they are leaders as well. The rules, guides, suggestions and premises behind leadership are not the dedicated to those who manage others, they are for everyone. Everyone that wants to not only improve themselves but actively pursuing the success and growths of others, of creating new leaders. New leaders because leadership is everyone’s business.

There will come a time that you will find yourself becoming a bully that intimidates others, is rude, feels a sense of entitlement, and yes, even talks down to others. Sadly, almost everyone that has been put in some kind of "management" position has been guilty of this. If you say "Oh, no! Not Me!" well you are a liar. Everyone, especially first timers have found themselves a little full of themselves. However, recognizing that fact, early, is the best way to learn from it to move and grow. Hopefully, grown into a leader that has seen the dark side of "managing others" and has become better for having once being that individual. Learning and Growing is the Fast Track To Leadership Greatness.

As The Walking Leader, You Must Listen To Understand

It is a LEADER’S intention to ensure that those that follower her must clearly and concisely understood. On the flip side of the relationship between leader and follower is undeniable; the Leader must LISTEN TO UNDERSTAND. Failing to listen to understand is the quickest way for a leader to disconnect from those he is supposed to leading. Once leaders lose their followers the ability to get them back is all but gone. Therefore, all leaders must go out of their way to make listening to understand a top priority.
