Learn To Say NO - The Walking Leader Podcast

Welcome to Episode 186 of the Walking Leader Podcast with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode: Learn To Say No

In this episode, I want to talk about you learning to start to say NO. To be the one that gives the NOs. Especially, if you have been giving out the YES like they were boxes of Cracker Jack. That was me not so long ago. I needed that acceptance until I realized, for me, it was all give and no take. I know if it has happened to me, it has happened to you, hell it is probably happening to you right now. They will take what you give them so long as it is a YES. Change! Time for changing yourself, your mindset, your circle of "friends" and if you have to, change the relationship with family members. The time has come for you to find your inner voice bring it out and say NO!

Don't forget to CREATE WIN-WIN situations in all that you do. Start Strong! Stay Strong! Finish Strong! Be Strong!

And as always, I remind you to GO BEYOND THE GRIND & GO BEYOND THE HUSTLE BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE THE WALKING LEADER AND A LEADER THAT IS GREAT TO FOLLOW.

I invite you to take about 17 minutes and listen to Episode 186 of the Walking Leader Podcast. Enjoy!

Take Calculated Risks - The Walking Leader Podcast

Welcome to Episode 185 of the Walking Leader Podcast with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode: Take Calculated Risks

Taking calculated risks is not just for leaders, but everyone does it and they do it all the time. For whatever reason, excuse or situation it has to be done. Those that know to step back to analyze the situation for any potential risk usually get what they expect. Sadly, there are many that refuse to weigh all the options and get exactly what they deserve. In this episode, I talk about when you should take a calculated risk, risk versus reward, and when is taking a calculated risk worth it.

I invite you to take about 15 minutes and listen to Episode 184 of the Walking Leader Podcast. Enjoy!

Don't Take NO Personally - The Walking Leader Podcast

Welcome to Episode 184 of the Walking Leader Podcast with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode: Don't Take NO Personally

Don't take NO Personally. Of course, that is easier said than done but let me in on a little secret. It gets easier with age. As you get older, experienced and wiser you start to realize that the NO other people give you DO NOT MATTER. In the grand scheme of things it is all actually pigeon feed. Whether they gave you that no out of spite, bad intentions, revenge, or whatever the reason they are actually doing you a favor by telling you up front. The NO means they are not saying YES then failing to deliver (take that personally). However, whether it is that time, schedules, calendars or prior commitments do not align well why take that personally? In this episode, I share with you several times that I took a NO personally and how now I have learned to let it go. You can do it as well (given time).

I invite you to take about 14 minutes and listen to Episode 184 of the Walking Leader Podcast. Enjoy!

Walk Your Talk - Walking Leader Podcast

Welcome to Episode 183 of the Walking Leader Podcast with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode: Walk Your Talk

There comes a time when you have to take a stand, be your true, authentic self. When that time comes you are Walking Your Talk. Walking Your Talk means you are aligned with what you believe, say, and do. While many find it difficult to do all three, at the same time, it can be done. Combining all three will eventually come to everyone but those that act on it are also few and far between. Why? Because when it comes to being your own unique self most people find it difficult to be true to themselves. They would rather be out among the crowd because it is easy, popular and the "cool" thing to do. Because it is difficult, unpopular and not cool are the exact reasons why WALKING YOUR TALK needs to be done. When you Walk Your Talk, you become something you will NEVER be when you are doing the easy, popular, cool thing, you become Authentic and Genuine. Take a listen to this 10 minute episode for more on why it is important and necessary to Walk Your Talk.

I invite you to take about 10 minutes and listen to Episode 183 of the Walking Leader Podcast. Enjoy!
