Welcome to Episode 255 of the Walking Leader Podcast with your host David G. Guerra.

In this episode, David continues the 2023 SELF-LEADERSHIP initiative: MAKING THE JUMP FROM AMATEUR TO PROFESSIONAL.

In this new series, David shares with you the second chapter served in two parts: BEING DIPLOMATIC (part 1).

Diplomacy is what makes change happen. Being diplomatic is what greases the wheels of progress. Then again, diplomacy can also hinder progress. By having the skill set to be diplomatic, you as a leader, will go far. It is when you cannot be diplomatic that you will truly never be a leader.

At most, you can be a bad manager but anyone refuses to be diplomatic is the moment that individual has failed to attain any level of leadership. By lacking the diplomacy, the individual find themselves at the extreme ends of the poles of leadership. Either they become bullies or they become submissive. Both are NOT what being a leader is about. Recognizing that diplomacy is needed in all situations that any leader at any level will find themselves in.
