Walking Leader Podcast - Do Not Be Hasty To Solve Problems with your host, David Guerra

Welcome to Episode 171 of the Walking Leader Podcast.with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode, Do Not Be Hasty To Solve Problems.

In these trying times Leaders are needed. Leaders are expected to step in and step up. In the age of COVID-19, real leadership is needed right now. Leadership, the kind that you have wanted to follow is what you need to be delivering. Now is not the time for wallflowers to stay in the background. Now the time is needy for those leaders that are willing to put "steel on target" when it comes to addressing problems. The days of quickly and hastily solving problems are long gone. Now, leaders are called on to act quickly then take the time time to Observe, Orient, Decide and Act, only after READY, FIRE, AIM!

Because situations are evolving quickly, leaders can no longer afford the luxury of attempting to solve problems on their own. They now have to do what it takes to put a spotlight or two or a dozen on the problem and draw an almost 360 degree approach to solving the problem. The solution of which entails putting "steel center mass of the target."

Don't forget to CREATE WIN-WIN situations in all that you do. Start Strong! Stay Strong! Finish Strong! Be Strong!

And as always, I remind you to GO BEYOND THE GRIND & GO BEYOND THE HUSTLE BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE THE WALKING LEADER AND A LEADER THAT IS GREAT TO FOLLOW.

I invite you to take about 14 minutes and listen to the Episode 171 of the Walking Leader Podcast. Enjoy!

Walking Leader Podcast: The Team Wins & Loses Together with your host David Guerra

Welcome to Episode 170 of the Walking Leader Podcast.with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode, I talk about The Team Wins & Loses Together.

Whether you are the team leader or a team member, together the team either succeeds or fails. The unit works together to accomplish a common goal. That goal is the culmination of the mission, vision and intent of the leadership, the management and the stakeholders that brought that team together.

By ensuring that all members of the team use commitment, dedication, and guidance through the inspiration and motivation of the leader the team will succeed. The success or failure belongs to the team. The responsibility or accepting the blame is different. That solely belongs to the leader in that their intentions were not fully understood. When the leader's inten is not understood then failure is sure to follow.

I invite you to take about 16 minutes and listen to the Episode 170 of the Walking Leader Podcast. Enjoy!

Failure Is Not Always A Loss, It Is Part Of Change with your host, David G. Guerra, MBA

Welcome to Episode 169 of the Walking Leader Podcast.with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode, I talk about how Failure is not always a loss, it is part of change.

When it comes to failure it is not always a loss. A failure at the least is a setback that you can work through to take another try.  Another swing. At most, failure is a lesson that will never be forgotten. Failure is part of change. We've all heard the story of Thomas Edison's Ten Thousand attempts to get it right. Well, you need your approximately 10,000 attempts before you get it right. Then try something new and you will have to start all over again, this time only wiser and smarter. So get to failing so you can get to winning.

Never Play Favorites When It Comes To Leadership with your host, David G. Guerrra, MBA

Welcome to Episode 168 of the Walking Leader Podcast.with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode, I talk about how As The Walking Leader, Never Play Favorites When It Comes To Leadership. .

Leaders will make friends and enemies while he or she is climbing their way up the organization. Remember, we cannot be all things to all people so yes, there will friends and not-friends as we make out way. The issue at hand is that you as a Leader can NEVER be so petty that you will play favorites because of who your friends are and who are not your friends. Yes, in 2020 it happens. Sadly, it happens. These Middle School games are played by grown adults because no one told to them STOP playing games children play and start behaving like adults. In the 21st Century childish games are easily discovered and once that “leader” is discovered then his/her credibility goes out the window, never to return. If you are playing those games you are hereby notified to discontinue that practice. Your future as a leader depends on it. If you never played these games then pat yourself on your back and keep up the good work!
