Self-Leadership - Practice (part 2) - MAKING THE JUMP FROM AMATEUR TO PROFESSIONAL

Welcome to Episode 264 of the Walking Leader Podcast with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode, I talk about SELF-LEADERSHIP and PRACTICE.

In episode 264, David continues his 2023 SELF-LEADERSHIP initiative to HELP YOU MAKE THE JUMP FROM AMATEUR TO PROFESSIONAL.

In this series, David shares with you the second part of the sixth chapter served in two parts: PRACTICE (part 2).

Episode 264, focuses on PRACTICE / Practicing / Preparing / Intentional Honing Your Craft / Sharpening Your Skills.

There are different levels of practicing just as there are different reasons to practice. The ONLY reason to PRACTICE is to become better. Either you are practicing to sharpen you skills or honing your craft. Better still you practice to become a better human being.

The ONLY trick to becoming better with PRACTICE is to be consistent. Consistent practice moves you beyond the Amateur mindset and delivers you in the ABOVE AVERAGE side of the Bell Curve of Life.

Consistency is what make us better and through PRACTICE we get there faster. We get there faster and then we want more. To get more we have to continue to PRACTICE. However, to get more requires a new level of PRACTICING. To get more we now have to elevate our level of PRACTICE from AMATEUR to PROFESSIONAL.

As we continue our journey from Amateur to Professional, thus we must continue to remind ourselves to CREATE WIN-WIN situations in all that you do. Start Strong! Stay Strong! Finish Strong! Be Strong!

And as always, I remind you to GO BEYOND THE GRIND & GO BEYOND THE HUSTLE BECAUSE THAT IS THE ONLY WAY TO BE THE WALKING LEADER AND A LEADER THAT IS GREAT TO FOLLOW.

I invite you to take about 12 minutes and listen to the Episode 264 of the Walking Leader Podcast. Enjoy!

Self-Leadership - Practice (part 1) - MAKING THE JUMP FROM AMATEUR TO PROFESSIONAL

Welcome to Episode 263 of the Walking Leader Podcast with your host David G. Guerra.
In this episode, I talk about MAKING THE JUMP FROM AMATEUR TO PROFESSIONAL and PRACTICE

In episode 263, David continues his 2023 SELF-LEADERSHIP initiative to HELP YOU MAKE THE JUMP FROM AMATEUR TO PROFESSIONAL.

In this series, David shares with you the first part of the sixth chapter served in two parts: PRACTICE (part 1).

Episode 263, focuses on PRACTICE / Practicing / Preparing / Intentional Honing Your Craft / Sharpening Your Skills.

There are different levels of practicing just as there are different reasons to practice. The ONLY reason to PRACTICE is to become better. Either you are practicing to sharpen you skills or honing your craft. Better still you practice to become a better human being.

The trick to becoming better with PRACTICE is to be consistent. Consistency is what make us better and through PRACTICE we get there faster. For example, you are to give a speech. You practice giving that speech over and over until you can also say backwards in your sleep. However, just be reading your speech over and over is not going to make you a better orator. You have to PRACTICE

In this 14 minute episode, David talks about PRACTICE with regards to those with an AMATEUR mindset versus the PROFESSIONAL mindset.

I invite you to take about 14 minutes and listen to the Episode 263 of the Walking Leader Podcast. Enjoy!
